SOLD 6lb Grenade, Museum Quality, RARE

SKU/ID: FO-0140

Short Description

6lb Cannon Ball/Grenade, including inert/gunpowder & fuse! Museum Quality # FO-0140
HMS Winchester sank 1695 (golden age of piracy)

A hollow 6lb ball, 3.3lbs, with gunpowder that is inert and in separate container. Unthinkably rare and in very good condition. . These were lit and thrown at ships at close quarters as anti personal devices.

This item just finished reverse electrolysis and is ready to ship. I will post updated photos.

PLEASE NOTE: These photos were taken during reverse electrolysis. The finished, stable ball will be much smoother and uniform black once the last of the encrustation drops off. See photo at bottom for an example of a finished ball.

This is the LAST one we have that is unencrusted. If we find more they will not be available for a long time. I personally feel this is one of the nicest ones we have found. VERY limited and very rare!
